Every factual claim in Vintner Report traces to a retrievable source. Our standards, in brief:
Verification
- News stories follow a two-source rule for factual claims.
- Quotes are verbatim from published or recorded sources, attributed, with the source recorded.
- We do not publish first-hand claims (visits, tastings, tests) unless a verified visit record exists for the story.
- Scores, ratings, prices, volumes, and dates are sourced; an unsourced figure does not publish.
Independence
Advertisers, sponsors, and presswire clients do not review, approve, or influence editorial coverage. Sponsored material is labeled as such under our sponsored content policy.
Corrections
Errors are corrected promptly and transparently under our corrections policy.
Imagery
Photographs depict their actual subjects. We do not present illustrative imagery as photography.
